[EN]Reading and writing are important tools for teaching children, and they are necessary for the acquisition of basic skills and should be very present in all areas in primary education. Thus, I have designed an English unit that promotes primary education in English literature, in addition to providing a critical attitude towards the stereotyped traditional texts and coeducation, and enabling them to meet great authors of English language and their culture. The aim of this unit is to promote English literature at school, encouraging a pleasant environment in the classroom through stories, theater, music and English poetry and culturally enriching students in different contexts. It also endeavours to familiarize them with reading, expanding their imagination and reflective skills. We attempt to introduce them to the wonderful world of children's literature and to break down the stereotypes present in most traditional tales.
