ASOCIACIÓN DE VELOCIDAD CON MEMORIA, AUTOCONCEPTO Y HABILIDADES SOCIALES EN INFANTIL

Abstract

[ES] El objetivo del presente estudio fue conocer si existe relación entre la velocidad y las variables memoria, autoconcepto y habilidades sociales en escolares de etapa Infantil, independientemente de la edad y el sexo. Participaron 250 alumnos de 3-6 años. Se empleó el test 4x10 para medir la velocidad, para la memoria, la versión española de las Escalas de Inteligencia de Reynolds, “RIAS”. El autoconcepto se evaluó por medio de la prueba de Percepción del Autoconcepto Infantil y las habilidades sociales a través de Escala de Habilidades Sociales para niños preescolares. La velocidad se correlacionó con la memoria, pero no con el autoconcepto ni con las habilidades sociales. De igual modo, la variable independiente y dependientes fueron asociadas mediante regresión lineal. Los análisis mostraron una asociación significativa entre la velocidad y el autoconcepto. No se halló asociación significativa entre velocidad y velocidad, memoria y habilidades sociales.

[EN] The objective of the present study was to know if there is a relationship between speed and the variables memory, self-concept and social skills in schoolchildren of the Infant stage, regardless of age and sex. 250 students aged 3-6 years participated. The 4x10 test was used to measure speed, for memory, the Spanish version of the Reynolds Intelligence Scales, “RIAS”. Self-concept was evaluated through the Infant Self-Concept Perception test and social skills through the Social Skills Scale for preschool children. Speed was correlated with memory, but not with self-concept or social skills. Similarly, the independent and dependent variables were associated by linear regression. The analyzes revealed a significant association between speed and self-concept. No significant association was found between speed and speed, memory and social skills.
