Violencia de género un acercamiento desde el trabajo social

Abstract

[ES] la violencia de género, como problema social que es, ha estado marcada por su continuidad a lo largo de la historia, así como por una constante invisibilidad, lo que ha dado lugar a la realidad de las actuales mujeres en la sociedad. En pleno Siglo XXI nos encontramos buscando soluciones a un problema tan antiguo y de tal magnitud con el fin de erradicar cualquier tipo de violencia contra las mujeres y ofrecer una respuesta integral a esta problemática. No obstante, y aun contando con leyes de igualdad y consideraciones delictivas de violencia de género tipificadas en el Código Penal, esta buscada erradicación total no ha sido lograda. Se hace necesaria, por tanto, la revisión de esta temática y la propuesta de los conceptos generales de la misma para dar aún más constancia e insistencia en este enorme problema social que nos afecta a todas y todos.[EN]Gender violence as a social problem has been marked by its continuity throughout history, as well as a constant invisibility which has led to the current reality of women in the society. In the middle of the XXI century we are looking for solutions toa problem so ancient and so great with the intention of eradicating any kind of violence against women and provide a comprehensive response to this problem. Nevertheless, even with equality laws and criminal considerations of gender violence categorized under the Criminal Code, this sought total • eradication has not been achieved. Therefore, it is necessary the review of this issue and the proposed general concepts of the same to give more evidence and insistence on this huge social problem which affects us.
