[ES]En el trabajo de fin de master presentado a continuación se pretenden investigar distintas formas de usar la inteligencia emocional para aumentar la autoestima de los alumnos. Para ello, en la primera parte de este trabajo se van a presentar las principales teorías tanto de autoestima como de inteligencia emocional, meditación, etc., así como estudios que prueban la eficacia de su relación. Finalmente, en la parte práctica de este TFM se incluirá una unidad didáctica la cual expondrá sesiones en las que se desarrollarán actividades de inteligencia emocional enfocadas a mejorar la autoestima.
[EN]This dissertation aims to state several ways to use Emotional Intelligence in class. They are oriented to improve the self-worth of the students. To do so, the first part of this Master’s dissertation will present some theoretical information on self-esteem, Emotional Intelligence, meditation and so more different theories. It will provide some researches which prove the effectiveness of their relationship. Finally, in the last part of this paper, a lesson plan will be included. The activities used in the lesson plan will be devoted to enhancing the self-esteem of the students, using Emotional Intelligence practices.
