This dissertation will treat with four different cinematographic adaptations of the novel Frankenstein or the modern Prometheus, written by Mary Shelley. Not only the novel we will contrast, but also how the story of each character changes along the years. Some people decide to stay with these embodied versions in books; however, others prefer visualize them through the cinematographic genre. Many literary works have been taken to the cinema, but sometimes, they are not well-captured on screen in order to like everyone, because the film director manipulates the story and transforming them into masterpieces or one more simple film.
