ESKORZO: 25 AÑOS CAMINANDO CON FUERZA DE SIETE VIENTOS

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo fin de máster, titulado Eskorzo: 25 años caminando con fuerza de Siete Vientos, es un documento de investigación teórico-práctica. La cuestión principal en la que se fundamenta este trabajo de investigación es la banda granadina Eskorzo y, más concretamente, su nuevo espectáculo musical, denominado A Fuego Suave. Partiendo del mestizaje y la fusión, contextualizando histórica, social y musicalmente al grupo, y mostrando referencias de la prensa, la investigación abarca la biografía y discografía del propio grupo, varias entrevistas realizadas tanto a miembros del mismo como a trabajadores relacionados con él, una compilación del repertorio empleado en A Fuego Suave y una comparativa entre las nuevas versiones y las canciones originales, además de ofrecer un estudio etnográfico basado en la vivencia personal de un concierto, así como un vídeo-reportaje sobre el mismo. [EN] This master's thesis, titled Eskorzo: 25 años caminando con fuerza de Siete Vientos, is a theoretical- practical research document. The main question on which this research work is based is the Granada band Eskorzo and, more specifically, its new musical show, called A Fuego Suave. Starting from the miscegenation and fusion, historically, socially and musically contextualizing the group, and showing references from the press, the investigation covers the biography and discography of the group itself, several interviews carried out both with members of the group and with workers related to it, one compilation of the repertoire used in A Fuego Suave and a comparison between the new versions and the original songs, as well as offering an ethnographic study of the personal experience of a concert, as well as a video report on it.
