Bailén como destino turístico: diagnóstico y recomendaciones

Abstract

[ES] Bailén es un municipio localizado en la provincia de Jaén, donde los sectores económicos más importantes son el del olivar y la cerámica. Como consecuencia de la crisis económica, Bailén se convirtió en uno de los municipios españoles con la mayor tasa de paro y, a pesar del potencial que posee, a diferencia de otros como Cartagena, no supo diversificarse y desarrollar otros sectores como el turístico. A lo largo de este proyecto llevaremos a cabo un diagnóstico de la ciudad de Bailén teniendo en cuenta aspectos como la ubicación y el estado del patrimonio, junto a un análisis DAFO, con la finalidad de conocer las fortalezas y debilidades de Bailén, así como las amenazas y oportunidades del entorno a los que tiene que hacer frente. Finalmente, haremos una exposición de los retos y objetivos que puede cumplir Bailén para ser incluido en los paquetes turísticos de la provincia de Jaén.

[EN] Bailén is a town located in the province of Jaén, where the most important economic sector are the olive and pottery. As a result of the economic crisis, Bailén became in one of the Spanish cities with highest unemployment rate and unlike other as Cartagena, it didn’t know diversify and develop other sector as tourism despite of the potential that Bailén has. Along this project we are going to carry out a diagnosis of Bailén taking into account aspects as the location and the state of the heritage and an analysis DAFO with the objective of knowing the strengths and the weaknesses of Bailén, besides of the threats and the opportunities that Bailén has to addressing of the environment. Finally, we are going to an exposition of the different challenges and targets that Bailén could accomplish to be included in Jaen tourist packages.
