sobrecogedoras.
[EN] The objective of this research has been to establish the efficacy of massive capture and control for olive oil fly in its first post winter generation such as prevention method, earlier than regular massive capture, usually since July. For that purpose, we have compared different kind of traps to know which one is the most suitable in this time of the year (April-May) and estimate the reduction in next generations also how many fruits and how much olive oil haven´t been deteriorated due the attack of this pest. The data from captures by different type of traps has been very different, standing out the trap called Maxitrap over the rest of them. Analyzed the whole information from the assessments is possible to confirm how interesting could be the massive capture over Bactrocera oleae in the post winter generation to reduce next generations which produce damage in fruits with a very reasonable price for farmers, even when the prediction of fruit damaged and therefore olive oil in bad conditions is incredible.
