One of the populations most affected by the phenomenon of school failure is that which has a compensatory nature; this is due to the socio-cultural disadvantages that surround it. For this reason, a program has been carried out from the field of Vocational Counseling in order to prevent school failure and school dropout in students of 1st and 2nd year of ESO and to raise awareness of the importance of Compulsory Secondary Education for students’ life. The three areas that make up Vocational Counseling have been addressed: Tutorial Action, Academic and Professional Guidance and Attention to Diversity. For the implementation of this program, a series of activities have been designed that will be carried out, during the school year, by both, the teachers and the students. Once finished, you will be able to see the results of the program and whether the proposed objectives have been achieved.
