Resumen
El envejecimiento de la población es un proceso acelerado y preocupante de la sociedad. Por ello, se debe de implantar talleres y actividades para disminuir el deterioro cognitivo y físico que este origina, en personas mayores.
Este estudio se basa en el análisis de programas de Envejecimiento Activo, llevados a cabo en cinco centro residenciales de la Zona de Trabajo Social de Arjona. La metodología utilizada ha consistido en realizar entrevistas en las diferentes residencias, en las que se basa el estudio. Tras el análisis de las entrevistas, se ha detectado la tendencia a confundir ABVD, en actividades de promoción del envejecimiento activo, junto con la falta de contratación de personal. Se evidencia una carencia importante de esta tipología de programas y talleres.
Todos los profesionales que han participado en las entrevistas, coinciden en una idea; la falta de recursos económicos y humanos para la práctica de estos programas.
The aging of the population is an accelerated and worrying process in society. Due to this cause, workshops and activities must be implemented to reduce the cognitive and physical deterioration that this causes, in elderly people.
