Sierra sur de Jaén: los usos del agua como una nueva oportunidad para el desarrollo turístico

Abstract

[ES]La comarca Sierra Sur de Jaén cuenta con un importante patrimonio natural con enclaves naturales de especial interés. Con el objetivo de poner en valor dicho patrimonio y potenciar el desarrollo del sector turístico en el medio rural, se realizará un estudio territorial y geográfico de la comarca, para proponer la creación de un nuevo producto turístico relacionado con un aspecto tan significante como es el agua. Con ello, se dará a conocer el legado tradicional de los usos y aprovechamiento de los recursos hídricos en la comarca, cuya motivación principal está relacionada con el disfrute de experiencias ligadas a la cultura. Además de poner en valor los recursos naturales de la Sierra Sur, la creación de un producto turístico supondrá un aumento del valor añadido en el territorio, afianzando un atractivo turístico de calidad y configurando un nuevo motor de desarrollo en su economía local.

[EN]The region Sierra Sur of Jaen possesses an important natural heritage with natural enclaves of special interest. With the aim to put in value the above mentioned heritage and to promote the development of the tourist sector in the rural way, a territorial and a geographical study of the region, will be carried out to propose the creation of a new tourist product related to an aspect as significant as is water. With it, the traditional legacy of the uses and utilization of the water resources in the region will be announced which principal motivation is related to the enjoyment of experiences tied to culture. Beside the put in value the natural resources of Sierra Sur, the creation of a tourist product will suppose an increase of the added value in the territory, guaranteeing a tourist atttraction of quality and forming a new engine of development in his local economy.
