Resumen
El tabaquismo es la principal causa prevenible de enfermedad y muerte prematura en países del mundo occidental. Es el causante de enfermedades como el cáncer de pulmón, enfermedades respiratorias, alteraciones digestivas, trastornos cardiovasculares, etc. A continuación se presenta un caso clínico de una mujer que quiere dejar de fumar, donde la ansiedad y el nerviosismo juegan un papel importante. Para decidir el tratamiento más adecuado, se llevó a cabo una evaluación mediante una entrevista semiestructurada y diferentes cuestionarios. Las técnicas empleadas en el tratamiento fueron: Contrato de contingencias, entrenamiento en relajación, utilización de técnicas aversivas y utilización de técnicas no aversivas. Tras diecisiete sesiones, la paciente consigue dejar de fumar por completo.

It's the cause of diseases like lung cancer, respiratory diseases, digestive alterations, cardiovascular disruption, etc. Next a clinic case of a woman who wants to quit smoking is presented, in which the anxiety and nervousness plays a very important role. To decide the appropiate treatment a evaluation with a semistructure interview and different questionnaire was made. The techniques used in this treatment were: possibility agreement, relaxation training, use of aversion techniques and use of non-aversion techniques. After seventeen sessions, the patient able to stop smoking completely.
