The Use of Flipped Classroom in Official Schools of Languages: A Didactic Proposal

Resumen
[ES] El principal objetivo de este Trabajo Fin de Máster es desarrollar una propuesta didáctica del
modelo de Clase Invertida para una clase de inglés como segundo idioma en Escuelas Oficiales de
Idiomas. En primer lugar, se ha elaborado un marco teórico del modelo que permitiera sentar las
bases del diseño de la unidad didáctica, así como una lista de útiles herramientas digitales para
ayudar a su implementación. En segundo lugar, se ha presentado una unidad didáctica completa
que incluye una contextualización específica, legislación, temporalización, desarrollo de una
variedad de actividades para trabajar cada una de las actividades comunicativas de la lengua,
definición de objetivos a conseguir, contenidos trabajados en la unidad y una sección de
evaluación. Asimismo, se incluyen anexados al final todos los materiales y enlaces necesarios
para su puesta en práctica y evaluación. Por último, el presente trabajo plantea ciertas
limitaciones de estudio y propuestas de mejora, así como una conclusión final y lista de
referencias.
[EN] This Master’s Dissertation is mainly aimed at developing a didactic proposal of the Flipped Classroom model for an English as a Second Language class in Official Schools of Languages. Firstly, a theoretical framework of the model has been elaborated to lay the foundations of the didactic unit design, as well as a list of useful tools to help its implementation. Secondly, a complete didactic unit has been presented, including a specific context, legislation, timing, development of a variety of activities to work on each communicative language activity, the definition of the objectives to be achieved, contents developed in the unit and an assessment section. Besides, it includes all the necessary materials and links for its implementation and evaluation, which are appended at the end of this document. Finally, this dissertation shows certain limitations of the study and develops future research lines, as well as a final conclusion and a list of references.
