Satisfacción Vital del docente del siglo XXI

Abstract

La satisfacción vital es un concepto que no se ha abordado lo suficiente en Educación. En este trabajo se presentan los resultados del estudio de satisfacción vital realizado a una muestra de 137 de docentes en activo (en distintos colegios de la provincia de Jaén) y docentes prácticos (tanto en los mismos centros educativos como distintos compañeros de la Universidad de Jaén), de la titulación de Educación Infantil y Primaria. Se usó el instrumento de medida SWLS. Los resultados abordan los diferentes contrastes significativos en función de las distintas variables sociodemográficas (género, especialidad y tipo docente) que hemos considerado, y que guardan relación con otros estudios. La investigación proporciona la búsqueda de un modelo que permite desarrollar respuestas de ajuste ante el desgaste que puedan sufrir los docentes, por medio de los resultados y del contexto analizado, indicando la necesidad de las emociones y las estrategias preventivas y de intervención.

Life satisfaction is a concept that has not been addressed enough in education. This paper presents the results of the study of life satisfaction conducted on a sample of 137 active teachers (in different schools in the province of Jaen) and practical teaching (both in the same schools as other colleagues from the University of Jaén present), titling and Primary Education. SWLS the measuring instrument was used. The results address the significant contrasts different depending on the different sociodemographic variables (gender, specialty and teaching type) we have considered and that relate to other studies. The research provides the search for a model that allows adjustment to develop responses that may suffer wear teachers through the results and analyzed context, indicating the necessity of emotions and prevention and intervention strategie.
