Abstract

La conquista de Al-Andalus, y por consiguiente, la interpretación de la sociedad andalusí han sido objeto de debate durante siglos. Siguiendo un recorrido a través de la historiografía, se realizará una revisión de la bibliografía sobre la invasión y el asentamiento de los árabes en la península. El trabajo se centra principalmente en la evolución que experimentará la población de la Península Ibérica desde finales del siglo VII hasta la instauración del Califato, y en las distintas interpretaciones que han surgido en tono a ella en el transcurso del tiempo. Partiendo de las teorías tradicionalistas, hasta las nuevas corrientes historiográficas desarrolladas a partir de la década de los años 70.Al-Andalus's conquest, and consequently, the interpretation of the company andalusí have been an object of debate for centuries. Following a tour across the historiography, a review of the bibliography will be realized on the invasion and the accession of the Arabs in the peninsula. Departing from the traditionalist theories, up to the new currents historiográficas developed from the decade of the 70s.
