LA MUTILACIÓN GENITAL FEMENINA: SITUACIÓN EN ESPAÑA

Abstract

En el presente trabajo analizaremos la situación de la mutilación genital femenina en España. Para ello hemos llevado a cabo una aproximación al tema donde explicamos brevemente que es la mutilación genital femenina, para más tarde hablar sobre la normativa contra esta práctica nociva y la situación de la misma en el ámbito español, tratando tanto la sorprendente prevalencia en algunas comunidades autónomas como las situaciones de riesgo, el tipo de prevención que se lleva a cabo y las medidas y protocolos creadas desde el ámbito nacional hasta el regional. Por último expondremos unas conclusiones en base al tema tratado durante el presente trabajo

In the present work we will analyze the situation of female genital mutilation in Spain. To do this we have carried out an approximation to the subject where we briefly explain what female genital mutilation is, to later talk about the legislation against this harmful practice and the situation of the same in the Spanish context, addressing both the surprising prevalence in some communities Such as risk situations, the type of prevention that is carried out and the measures and protocols created from the national to the regional level. Finally, we will present some conclusions based on the topic dealt in the current project.
