MICROPLÁSTICOS EN EL MEDIO AMBIENTE.

Abstract

Los microplásticos representan uno de los mayores problemas de contaminación del medio global debido a su ubicuidad. Estos contaminan el agua, el suelo y el aire que nos rodea afectando a todos los organismos y elementos que residen en estos ambientes, inclusive al ser humano, que se encuentra inevitablemente expuesto acarreando una serie de efectos nocivos para él. En esta revisión se estudia los efectos que tienen los microplásticos en los diferentes ambientes en los que se encuentran, así como los efectos que pueden causar en el cuerpo humano.

Microplastics represent one of the biggest pollution problems in the global environment because of their ubiquity. These pollute the water, the soil and the air that surrounds us, affecting all the organisms and elements that reside in these environments, including the human being, who is inevitably exposed to them with nocive effects. This review studies the effects that microplastics have in the different environments in which they are found, as well as the effects that they can cause in the human body.
