Un Pop Up lleno de música

Abstract

(ES) El presente trabajo de investigación gira entorno a la elaboración de un libro desplegable Pop Up para la enseñanza de la música popular del pueblo de Mengíbar. Este surge de la inquietud por conocer los cantos tradicionales y transmitirlos a las generaciones futuras, evitando así que se pierda el saber popular. Para ello me enfrento a distintas adversidades como el desconocimiento de todas las canciones, la elaboración del libro Pop Up o la grabación e interpretación propia de cada una de las melodías. La investigación se sustenta en pilares básicos sobre referentes en este tipo de libros y la importancia de estos para el aprendizaje del individuo que los manipula. Por otro lado, se fundamenta la importancia de la música tradicional y el saber popular de índole musical que caracteriza a la provincia de Jaén y en concreto al pueblo de Mengíbar. Una vez constituida la obra, se expone a agrupaciones musicales locales y se elabora un cuestionario a una muestra de la población que oscila entre los 8 y 18 años para descubrir el conocimiento que poseen sobre la música tradicional de Mengíbar y la predisposición que muestran para que esta no quede en el olvido. Así mismo, el Pop Up queda a disposición de los centros educativos y las distintas asociaciones musicales del pueblo.

(EN) This research work revolves around the development of a Pop Up book for the teaching of popular music of the town of Mengíbar. This arises from the concern to know the traditional songs and transmit them to future generations, thus avoiding the loss of popular knowledge. To do this I face different adversities such as the lack of knowledge of all the songs, the development of the Pop Up book or the recording and interpretation of each of the melodies. The research is based on basic pillars on references in this type of books and their importance for the learning of the individual who manipulates them. On the other hand, the importance of the traditional music and the popular knowledge of musical nature that characterizes the province of Jaén and specifically the town of Mengíbar is based. Once the work is constituted, it is exposed to local musical groups and a questionnaire is elaborated to a sample of the population that oscillates between 8 and 18 years to discover the knowledge that they possess on the traditional music of Mengíbar and the predisposition they show for this is not forgotten. In addition, the Pop Up is available to educational centers and the different musical associations of the town.
