EXPLORING THE ENVIRONMENT IN ASTURIAS: A CLIL DIDACTIC PROPOSAL FOR 2ND YEAR OF PRIMARY EDUCATION

Abstract

(ES) El presente Trabajo Fin de Máster consiste en una propuesta didáctica orientada al segundo curso de Educación Primaria en la asignatura de Ciencias Naturales, para trabajar de manera competencial y centrada en el estudiante el tema de medio ambiente en el Principado de Asturias. Se recoge un análisis de la metodología CLIL, su historia y su legislación tanto a nivel español como asturiano, seguido de una situación de aprendizaje en la cual el alumnado se traslada hacia una playa contaminada gijonesa y aprende de manera activa cómo se puede mejorar esa situación, a la vez que desarrolla su competencia lingüística tanto en Inglés como en Castellano, instaurando en el alumnado una comprensión y responsabilidad reales para con el mundo que les rodea, fomentando que se conviertan en ciudadanos críticos y conscientes.

(EN) This Master's thesis consists of a didactic proposal aimed at the second year of Primary Education in the subject of Natural Sciences, to work on the subject of the environment in the Principality of Asturias in a competent and student-centred way. It includes an analysis of the CLIL methodology, its history and legislation at both Spanish and Asturian levels, followed by a learning situation in which the pupils move to a polluted beach in Gijón and actively learn how to improve the situation, while developing their linguistic competence in both English and Spanish, establishing in the pupils a real understanding and responsibility for the world around them, encouraging them to become critical and aware citizens.
