This Thesis aims to propose a research line within the Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAI) field, focused on Animal- Assisted Education (AAE) programme the design, whose objective is to evaluate the dog's presence influence in the promotion of children literacy during the ages between five and six years old and show a neurotypical development in the language area, comparing the results with those obtained from the parallel study of two control groups, one whose participants attend a conventional reading and writing programme complementary to their classes and another where they do not attend any other extracurricular programme that leads their work towards this type of content. As this is a theoretical proposal, the results described will be based on other studies that have been carried out previously.
