[EN] This work is a systematic review of the literature on highly sensitive people (PAS). Specifically, general information has been collected on PAS, highly sensitive people scale (HSP), the relationship between SPS and some aspects of personality such as the constructs of the Big Five questionnaire, high reactivity and also the relationship between SPS and the two most common disorders: depression and anxiety. SPS positively correlates with neuroticism and openness in adults, negatively with extraversion, and a significant correlation with agreeableness has not been found. It has also been postulated that high levels of SPS predict a high emotional response. Regarding anxiety and depression, a high level of SPS is related to greater vulnerability to these disorders if the PAS have had a difficult childhood. Finally, SPS has also been studied as a protective factor against depressive symptoms.
