The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the electrical renewable energy production in Spain, focusing on the most developed technologies which are clearly implemented. In addition, positive and negative environmental impacts caused by the main current sources of renewable energy in Spain, such as wind, hydraulic, solar, photovoltaic and termo solar energy, are identified. To achieve this, an analysis of several research projects about the generation of electricity using renewable energies in Spain is made. Furthermore, corrective and protective measures included in these researches are analysed with the purpose to mitigate the negative impacts that could be caused on the environment, as well as possible compensatory measures.
