Resumen
[ES]El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo concienciar sobre los problemas e impactos
ambientales actuales a los estudiantes de Biología y Geología de 4o ESO y que sean
capaces de reflexionar y valorar críticamente sobre estos. En la primera parte, se
abordará cómo en las últimas décadas la actividad humana ha contribuido a agravar el
cambio global, se tratará la situación, las causas, las consecuencias del problema y sus
posibles soluciones hacia el desarrollo sostenible. En la segunda parte, se desarrolla
una unidad didáctica de las ciencias centrada en la educación ambiental y conciencia
ecológica, basada en la combinación de diferentes metodologías para lograr el
aprendizaje significativo, el pensamiento crítico y motivar al alumno. Además, el
alumnado saldrá del aula y conocerá la observación y la experimentación, que son la
base de las ciencias.

[EN]This project aims to raise awareness about the current environmental problems and their impacts to students of Biology and Geology of 4th ESO, and to train the ability to think critically. The first part address how in the last decades human activity has contributed to aggravate global change, the situation, the causes, the consequences of the problem and its possible solutions related to the concept of sustainable development. In the second part, a didactic unit is developed, focused on environmental education and ecological awareness, based on the combination of different methodologies to achieve meaningful learning, critical thinking and motivate the student. In addition, students will make a fieldtrip, with the aim to learn about observation and experimentation, which are the basis of science.
