For a long time, it has been theorized that the memory of witnesses plays a very important role in identifying culprits of an event because it can give a false testimony, and consequently this can have drastic repercussions in the judicial subject. The accuracy of the memory is questioned because there are many factors that can influence it, making it be moldable and this leads to false testimony. The researchers suggest that memory is inaccurate. Thanks to the experiments of experts like Elizabeth Loftus among others, since I have been working in depth on this subject, and have demonstrated that it is possible that the memory is distorted or even that there is a bad codification.
