THE EVALUATION OF A FOREIGN LANGUAGE: AN ANALYSIS ON THE LAST EDUCATIONAL REFORMS AND A PROPOSAL OF INNOVATIVE EVALUATION TECHNIQUES

Resumen
[ES] El proceso de evaluación es uno de los pilares del sistema educativo, el cual garantiza la mejora del
sistema de enseñanza/aprendizaje y la adecuada toma de decisiones por parte de los docentes. Sin
embargo, los continuos cambios legislativos han dificultado la tarea de los docentes en este sentido. El
objetivo de este trabajo es analizar los distintos elementos que comprenden el proceso evaluativo, así
como realizar una comparación entre las distintas leyes educativas aprobadas en las últimas décadas en
relación a la evaluación de lenguas extranjeras: desde la LOCE hasta la actual LOMLOE. Asimismo, se
proponen innovadoras técnicas que faciliten el proceso evaluativo a través de las ICTs: Quizizz y
Edpuzzle. De este modo, el propósito de esta investigación sería proporcionar una guía a docentes de
lenguas extranjeras para implementar el proceso de evaluación de acuerdo a la normativa vigente
haciendo uso de diversos instrumentos y herramientas.
[EN] The evaluation process is one of the pillars of the educational system, which guarantees the improvement of the teaching/learning system and adequate decision-making by teachers. However, continuous legislative changes have hindered the task of teachers in this regard. The aim of this paper is to analyze the different elements that comprise the evaluation process, as well as to make a comparison between the different educational acts approved in the last decades in relation to the evaluation of foreign languages: from the LOCE to the current LOMLOE. Likewise, innovative techniques are proposed to facilitate the evaluation process through ICTs: Quizizz and Edpuzzle. Thus, the purpose of this research would be to provide a guide for foreign language teachers to implement the evaluation process according to the current regulations using different instruments and tools.
