Sobrecarga de trabajo en las personas cuidadoras informales de las personas con esclerosis múltiple: revisión sistemática

Resumen
Introducción: La Esclerosis Múltiple es una enfermedad del SNC que produce una gran dependencia de las personas que la padecen. Las personas cuidadoras informales son las que presentan una carga producida por la acción de cuidar. Objetivo: Analizar la sobrecarga de trabajo que presenta la población cuidadora informal de personas con EM. Metodología: Se ha realizado una búsqueda científica en las bases de datos Pubmed, Dialnet plus, Scielo, Scopus y CINAHL, utilizando las cadenas de búsqueda. Resultados: Se han incluido 9 investigaciones para realizar la revisión sistemática. Los resultados obtenidos concluyen que las personas cuidadoras informales presentan elevados niveles de carga asociada a la tarea de cuidar, afectando a la calidad de vida de los mismos. Conclusiones: Las personas cuidadoras informales presentan una peor calidad de vida debido al tiempo dedicado a cuidar a las personas con EM.
