Optimización de recursos en la empresa: Caso práctico Toyota

Abstract

[ES] El presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado tiene como objetivo analizar la optimización de los recursos en la empresa. En él se estudiarán los primeros ejemplos de optimización en las organizaciones, así como diferentes técnicas, y las consecuencias para la empresa de aplicar o no dichas herramientas de optimización. Se analizará de forma directa el caso de Toyota Motor Corporation, considerada como la organización que más ha aportado a la teoría de optimización de los recursos, cuyas técnicas revolucionaron el sector automovilístico a mitad del Siglo 20 y que en la actualidad se siguen utilizando por la mayoría de empresas. Por último, se estudiará los posibles efectos en la sociedad y el empleo que tendrá la Industria 4.0 y la tecnología que le acompaña, como la computación cognitiva, el big data, la inteligencia artificial o la automatización.

[EN] The aim of this final degree project is to analyse the optimisation of resources in the company. We will study the first examples of optimisation in organizations, different techniques available and finally the consequences for the company if optimisation tools are applied or not. This analysis will be directly focused on the case of Toyota Motor Corporation, who are considered as the organization that has contributed most to the theory of optimisation of resources, and whose techniques not only revolutionised the automotive sector in the middle of the 20th century but continue to be used by most companies today. Finally, possible effects on society will be considered, as well as employment, that Industry 4.0 will have and the technology that goes with it, such as machine learning, big data, artificial intelligence or automation.
