Resumen
Este Trabajo de Fin de Máster aborda la convergencia entre el oleoturismo y los
Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS). A través de una metodología cualitativa,
se exploró la contribución específica de las empresas de oleoturismo a diversos
ODS, destacando su potencial para impulsar el crecimiento económico sostenible, la educación de calidad, la igualdad de género y la protección del medio ambiente. El análisis reveló impactos económicos y sociales positivos, así como desafíos en la integración de prácticas sostenibles. El estudio identificó la importancia de la sostenibilidad para el oleoturismo, aunque se evidenció un desconocimiento y falta de prácticas sostenibles en algunas empresas. Se señalaron retos relacionados con la concienciación y la necesidad de implementar tecnologías más limpias. Además, se examinó el papel de los ODS en la estrategia de sostenibilidad, revelando que, aunque algunas empresas los consideran, su implantación es limitada debido al desconocimiento y a otras prioridades. Las conclusiones destacan la necesidad de fortalecer la integración de prácticas sostenibles, mejorar la educación sobre ODS y promover la concienciación en el sector del oleoturismo. Las limitaciones del estudio, como la falta de cuantificación del impacto y la muestra restringida, indican áreas para futuras investigaciones. Este trabajo ofrece una visión detallada que sienta las bases para profundizar en la contribución del oleoturismo a la Agenda 2030 de Desarrollo Sostenible y aborda futuras líneas de investigación para avanzar en este campo.
This Master’s Thesis addresses the convergence between oleotourism and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through a qualitative methodology, the specific contribution of oleotourism companies to various SDGs was explored, highlighting their potential to promote sustainable economic growth, quality education, gener equality, and environmental protection. The analysis revealed positive economic and social impacts, as well as challenges in integrating sustainable practices. The study identified the significance of sustainability for oleoturism, although there was evidence of a lack of awareness and sustainable practices in some companies. Challenges related to arareness and the need to implement cleanes technologies were highlighted. Additionally, the role of the SDGs in the sustainability strategy was examined, revealing that, although some companies consider them, theis implementation is limited due to lack of awareness and other priorites. The conclusions emphasize the need to strengthen the integration of sustainable practices, improve education on SDGs, and raise awareness in the oleotourism sector. Limitations of the study, such as the lack of quantifications of the impact and the restricted simple, indicate áreas fot future research. This work provides a detailed insight laying the groundwork for further exploration of oleotourism’s contribution to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Developmen and addresses future research directions to advance in this field.
