Resumen
[ES]El desarrollo socioemocional en los niños y niñas con altas capacidades se estudia
desde un Nuevo Paradigma de la Superdotación que defiende la relación entre emoción y
cognición y con el que se evidencia la importancia del factor emocional en el diagnóstico e
intervención en este colectivo.
Es por esta razón por la que en este Trabajo de Fin de Máster se propone un
programa de intervención destinado a niños y niñas con altas capacidades y de edades
comprendidas entre 10 y 12 años. Teniendo como aval teórico múltiples estudios, donde
se demuestra la relación de interdependencia que mantiene la sobreexcitabilidad con el
autoconcepto, las habilidades sociales asertivas y las habilidades comunicativas, se llevará
a cabo un entrenamiento en estos tres últimos constructos para conseguir el objetivo
general de disminuir los niveles de sobreexcitabilidad en estos individuos, y que esto
repercuta de forma positiva en su desarrollo personal y social.Palabras clave.

[EN]The socioemotional development in gifted students is studied as a New Paradigm of Giftedness that defends the relationship between emotion and cognition. It shows the importance of the emotional factor in the diagnosis and intervention of this group. Due to this reason, an interventional program, focused on gifted students aged between 10 and 12, is proposed in this Master’s Degree Thesis. Having as a theoretical guarantee several studies where the interdependence relationship that maintains the overexcitability with the selfconcept, the assertive social abilities and the communicative abilities, a training on the last three named concepts will be carried out to manage the main aim which is focused on the fact of reducing the level of over-excitability in these people, and to have an effect on their personal development in a assertive way.
