PROPIEDADES PSICOMÉTRICAS DE LA VERSIÓN ESPAÑOLA DEL CUESTIONARIO CHEXI DE FUNCIONAMIENTO EJECUTIVO EN NIÑOS PREESCOLARES.

Abstract

[ES] Objetivo. Analizar las propiedades psicométricas (fiabilidad y validez) del CHEXI (Thorell & Nyberg, 2008) en la adaptación al español, además de relacionar los resultados con algunas variables sociodemográficas. Método. Participaron 173 niños (3 a 6 años), seleccionados de varios colegios del sur de España. Se han empleado el cuestionario CHEXI y Brief-p. Resultados. La escala CHEXI ha mostrado buena consistencia interna (alfa de Cronbach= 0.950). El análisis exploratorio confirma una estructura de dos factores. El análisis de validez convergente con el Brief-P arroja correlaciones significativas entre inhibición (r=0.754, p<0.001) y entre trabajo de memoria (r=0.89, p<0.001). Finalmente, los niños muestran una puntuación superior a las niñas en trabajo de memoria e inhibición, y no se encuentran influencia de las características sociodemográficas de los padres. Conclusiones. Los análisis psicométricos del presente estudio confirman la validez y fiabilidad de la versión inicial española del CHEXI adaptado a la población preescolar escolar.

[EN] Objective. Analyze the psychometric properties (reliability and validity) of the CHEXI (Thorell & Nyberg, 2008) in the adaptation to Spanish, in addition to relating the results with some sociodemographic variables. Method. 173 children (3 to 6 years old) participated, selected from various schools in southern Spain. The CHEXI questionnaire and Brief-p have been used. Results. The CHEXI scale has shown good internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha = 0.950). The exploratory analysis confirms a two-factor structure. The convergent validity analysis with the Brief-P shows significant correlations between inhibition (r = 0.754, p <0.001) and between memory work (r = 0.89, p <0.001). Finally, boys show a higher score than girls in memory and inhibition work, and no influence is found from the sociodemographic characteristics of the parents. Conclusions. The psychometric analyzes of the present study confirm the validity and reliability of the initial Spanish version of the CHEXI adapted to the preschool population.
