LOS BENEFICIOS DE LAS INTERVENCIONES ASISTIDA S CON ANIMALES ( IAA ) EN LOS ALUMNOS CON TRASTORNO ESPECÍFICO DEL LENGUAJE (TEL)

Abstract

[ES] Se trata de un estudio piloto que tiene como objetivo comprobar la efectividad de las Intervenciones Asistidas con Animales (IAA) en alumnos que han sido diagnosticados con Trastorno Específico del Lenguaje (TEL). Para ello, se aplicará un programa de mejora de la conciencia fonológica en dos grupos de niños diagnosticados con TEL, pero en uno de ellos se contará con la participación de un equipo de IAA, que cuenta con un perro de intervención cualificado. Además, habrá un grupo control con el que no se llevará ningún tipo de intervención. Se espera que el grupo en el que se lleva a cabo el entrenamiento con un perro de intervención obtenga mejores resultados en conciencia fonológica y lectura que en el resto de los grupos.

[EN] This is a pilot study that aims to test the effectiveness of Animal Assisted Interventions (AAI) in students who have been diagnosed with Specific Language Disorder (SLD). To this end, a program to improve phonological awareness will be applied in two groups of children diagnosed with TEL, but in one of them there will be the participation of an IAA team, which has a qualified intervention dog. Additionally, there will be a control group with which no type of intervention will be carried out. The group in which the training with an intervention dog is carried out is expected to obtain better results in phonological awareness and reading than in the rest of the groups.
