CREENCIAS ESTEREOTIPADAS SOBRE LAS PERSONAS CASADAS O QUE CONVIVEN EN PAREJA Y SU RELACIÓN CON LA SALUD, EL BIENESTAR PSICOLÓGICO Y EL AJUSTE DIÁDICO

Resumen
[ES] La mayor parte de las investigaciones e intervenciones en el ámbito de las relaciones de pareja, se han centrado principalmente en el contexto individual, y en el contexto de la pareja. Para una adecuada aproximación al estudio de las parejas, se debe tener también en cuenta la influencia social y cultural sobre la relación de pareja. Hemos encontrado que una forma de influencia social y cultural sobre las personas, son los estereotipos. Por lo que el principal objetivo de esta investigación, es explorar las posibles creencias estereotipadas que la sociedad tiene sobre las personas que conviven en pareja, y cómo estas creencias pueden estar influyendo en dichas personas y en su relación. En nuestro estudio el interés se centra en conocer las creencias estereotipadas que -una muestra de la población de Jaén, tiene sobre las personas que conviven en pareja, y si existe alguna relación entre estas creencias estereotipadas, la salud, el bienestar psicológico y el ajuste de pareja de las personas casadas o que conviven en pareja.
Esta investigación es de carácter no experimental, de tipo cualitativo, descriptivo y correlacional con un diseño transversal.
Los resultados muestran que existen creencias estereotipadas sobre las personas casadas o que conviven en pareja en una muestra poblacional de la ciudad de Jaén, y que este estereotipo podría estar influyendo en la salud, el bienestar psicológico y el ajuste de pareja de las personas estereotipadas
[EN] Most of the research and interventions in the field of couple relationships, have focused mainly on the individual context, and in the context of the couple. Therefore, for an adequate approach to the study of couples, the social and cultural influence on the couple relationship must be taken into account. We have found that one form of social and cultural influence on people is stereotypes. Therefore, tbe main objective of this research is to explore the possible stereotypical beliefs that society has about people who Jive togetber as a couple, and how these beliefs may be influencing stereotypical people and their relationship. In our study, our interest is focused on knowing the stereotyped beliefs that a sample of the population of Jaén has about people who líve together as a couple, and if there is any relationship between these stereotyped beliefs with health, psychological well-being and couple adjustrnent of married people or living with a partner. This research is non-experimental, qualitative, descriptive and correlational with a cross-sectional design Toe results show that there are stereotyped beliefs about people who are married or who live as a couple in a population sample from tbe city of Jaén, and that this stereotype influences stereotyped people.
