The concept of superior abilities is still unknown and full of false beliefs and myths. In this work, these myths will be grouped in three blocks and they will be dismantled based on different scientific studies that demonstrate the independence between abilities and emotional or social problems, focusing mostly on the emotional part. The importance of mitigating all types of false beliefs will also be highlighted. For this, as noted above, different articles can be used that are supported by studies on the differences in the neural bases of these children with more important abilities than children with average abilities and in the importance and influence of the family.
