Resumen
[ES] El uso de técnicas de Big Data está ya extendido y madurado a nivel empresarial, es de conocimiento de todos que las grandes empresas se lucran utilizando este tipo de técnicas en sus análisis de datos para apoyarse en la toma de decisiones e intentar conocer mejor a su consumidor y su entorno.
En el presente estudio, planteamos la posibilidad de aplicar dichas técnicas en las pequeñas y medianas empresas. Para ello, haremos un recorrido por la historia del Big Data, además de definirlo y conocer las características que le diferencian del resto de estudios. Esto nos permitirá entender cómo aplicarlo a las pequeñas y medianas empresas.
Expondremos además un ejemplo con las características de una empresa real, en el que utilizando herramientas o servicios que hacen uso de las técnicas de Big Data, mejoremos la toma de decisiones en dicha sociedad, reduciendo así costes para la empresa.
[EN] The use of Big Data techniques is already widespread and matured at the enterprise level, it is known that big companies obtain profit by using this type of techniques in their data analysis to support decision making and try to better understand their consumer and their environment. In the present study, we propose the possibility of applying these techniques in small and medium enterprises. For this, we will take a tour of the history of Big Data, in addition to defining it and knowing the characteristics that differentiate it from the rest of studies. All this will allow us to understand how to apply it to small and medium enterprises. We will present an example with the characteristics of a real company, where using tools or services that make use of Big Data techniques, we improve the decision making in this society, thus reducing costs for the company.
