Importancia del inglés para la atención al público

Abstract

[ES] El principal objetivo del presente Trabajo Fin de Grado es introducir una breve aproximación sobre los aspectos esenciales del inglés para la atención al público, más concretamente en la hostelería. Ésta se realiza, principalmente, a partir de libros y manuales especializados sobre los aspectos antes mencionados, además de, tesis doctorales y documentos elaborados por organismos oficiales, como el “Plan del Turismo Español Horizonte 2020” aprobado por el Consejo de Ministros (2007); y, finalmente, apuntes de las asignaturas de la doble Titulación de Filología Inglesa y Turismo, y el Grado de Turismo. Para llegar a la idea principal del trabajo se ha realizado previamente una aproximación al sector hotelero, así como, a la importancia que tiene el turismo en España. De este hecho nace la necesidad del inglés para la atención al cliente.

[EN] The main objective of this Final Degree Project is to introduce a brief approach to the aspects of English for customer service, specifically in the hotel industry. This approach is mainly done from specialized books and manuals on the aspects above mentions use of English for the customer, together with, doctoral thesis and documents prepared by government agencies, such as the Plan del Turismo Español Horizonte 2020 approved by the Cabinet (2007); and, finally, class notes of the double degree of English Philology and Tourism, and the Degree of Tourism. To reach the main idea of this paper we have previously made an approach to the hotel industry, just like the importance of tourism in Spain. From this fact the need of English for customer service comes.
