TRIBUNAL DE CUENTAS DEL ESTADO

Abstract

El Tribunal de Cuentas del Estado representa un Órgano previsto en la Constitución Española, en el artículo 136. No se trata de una institución nueva, sino que encuentra sus orígenes más inmediatos en el siglo XIX. Es un Órgano que consta de una riquísima tradición histórica y al que a lo largo de los años se le han ido atribuyendo diferentes funciones. En la actualidad tiene a su cargo diversas funciones, centradas en la función de fiscalización y el enjuiciamiento contable, realizando un control externo de los gastos.

The Account Court of State represents a Constitutional Organ, foreseen in the Spanish Constitutution in the article 136. There isn 't a new institution, but finds if s most inmediate origins in the century XIX. This is an Organ that has the richest history, and that over the years they have been attributing functions diferent. Nowadays, is responsible to diferent functions which we can highlight oversight function and accounting prosecution , performing an externa! control of the expenses.
