[EN] The main goal of this paper is to carry out a proposed intervention in order to improve language acquisition on children with Down Syndrome. When these children are schooled, either in regular or specialised educational centres, they present needs which are different from those of their peers´; one of them is language. Language for children with Down Syndrome is a key element, the same way it is for the rest of 5 children. Thanks to language, people are able to communicate, to fit in, and to express their feelings, making the most of their potential. Therefore, teachers must give a positive answer to these special needs, in order to provide a good quality education. The first part of this paper will introduce the theoredical framework that explains Down Syndrome. Then, the proposed intervention aiming at language improvement in children with Down Syndrome will be explained, alongside the way it should be performed within the classroom. To conclude, the benefits obtained from the present Project will be expounded.
