Resumen
[ES] El presente trabajo es de tipo teórico y su propósito es hacer un análisis de los diseños de experimentos por bloques incompletos. Para ello, se introduce una descripción general de este tipo de diseños y para qué se utilizan. A continuación, se muestra un análisis de algunos tipos de diseños por bloques incompletos, concretamente los diseños balanceados, los parcialmente balanceados, los cuadrados de Youden y los diseños resolubles. Para cada uno de estos tipos de diseño se describen sus características, cuándo se utilizan y un ejemplo numérico. Seguidamente se muestran una serie de pautas que ayudan en la elección de un diseño concreto de bloques incompletos a la hora de realizar un experimento.
[EN] This project is of theoretical kind and its purpose is to analyze designs about incomplete block experiments. To do this, a general description of this type of designs is introduced, and for what they are used. Next, an analysis of some types of incomplete block designs is shown, balanced designs more concretely, partially balanced designs, Youden squares and resolvable designs. For each one of these types of design we describe their features and when they are used, and a numerical example is included. Then we show a set of guidelines that help in the choice of a particular incomplete block design when we want to perform an experiment.
