El origen y evolución de la música afroamericana en un contexto bilingüe

Abstract

En este trabajo se recoge una selección de información actual acerca del concepto de bilingüismo. Con esto se busca mostrar una idea aproximada de cómo se originó este término y cómo se ha ido desarrollando en el campo de la docencia en Europa, España y más concretamente en Andalucía. Asimismo se discute la preparación que debe tener un docente para poder llevar a cabo de manera satisfactoria la enseñanza bilingüe dentro del aula, así como diferentes técnicas que se pueden usar para facilitar y mejorar este proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. A continuación, se hace un recorrido por la música tradicional norteamericana, con un especial interés en cómo surgieron y evolucionaron dichos estilos para llegar a ser tan influyentes en todo el mundo durante el siglo XX. Para finalizar, se presenta una intervención didáctica que une los dos temas principales mencionados anteriormente con el fin de ofrecer material docente que pueda ser de utilidad en este campo.

This work collects information about the concept of bilingualism. This seeks to show an approximate idea about how this term was originated and how it has been developed in Europe, Spain and, more specifically in Andalusia. This leads to another point, that is, the preparation that a teacher should have to carry out satisfactorily the bilingual education in the classroom and some techniques that can be used to facilitate this process of teaching and learning. Then, I introduce the traditional North American music and briefly explain how American styles emerged and evolved to become so influential around the world in the twentieth century. Finally, it is presented a didactic unit that links the two main issues mentioned above in order to provide teaching material that might be used by me and other teachers interested in this field.
