[EN] In this work we report on the efficiency of fully coupled finite volume methods in fluid flows. Three canonical problems are studied by means of segregated and coupled numerical schemes, namely: the flow in a 2D cavity, the flow over a NACA wing and the flow resulting in a sudden expansion. Based on these results guidelines on the most efficient numerical set up are presented to solve for the steady-state Navier-Stokes equation.
