María Enriqueta Camarillo: entre la novela y el cuento.

Abstract

[ES] El presente Trabajo Fin de Máster aborda la figura y la obra narrativa de la escritora mexicana María Enriqueta Camarillo. Con tal fin, se ha procedido a realizar un estudio de su vida, de acuerdo al contexto histórico en el que vivió y a su condición como mujer de letras, para repasar después el conjunto de su obra narrativa, con especial atención a sus tres novelas, así como a sus cuentos. El análisis de estos textos permite advertir una serie de temas comunes, así como el mantenimiento de un estilo particular al que la escritora se aferra frente al desarrollo de las vanguardias vigentes en su época.

[EN] This Master's Thesis addresses the figure and the narrative work of the Mexican writer María Enriqueta Camarillo. To this end, a study of her life has been carried out, according to the historical context in which she lived and her condition as a woman of letters, to later review the whole of her narrative work, with special attention to her three novels, as well as his stories. The analysis of these texts allows us to notice a series of common themes, as well as the maintenance of a particular style to which the writer clings to in the face of the development of the avant-garde current in her time.
