vida.
This work has as objective the proposal of a research to verify if the introduction of a dog as a support in the teaching process improves the learning of mathematical skills in the students of Early Childhood Education. During this stage, students begin to understand basic math concepts that can cause anxiety and stress in a learning process. For this reason, it is thought that it is crucial to take advantage of this opportunity to promote learning through a connection with animals, in this case the dog. It is scientifically proven that it reduces anxiety and stress and, in turn, encourages motivation and curiosity towards mathematics. Thus, the student will enjoy the learning process and see it as a game, which increases their enjoyment and this will lead to improvements in their education, since they will acquire relevant and practical knowledge for their lives.
