PROJECT - BASED LEARNING IN THE CLIL CLASSROOM: A DIDACTIC PROPOSAL FOR 5TH GRADE

Abstract

[ES]El interés por aprender una lengua extranjera está provocando que cada vez más escuelas quieran enseñar la lengua extranjera y los contenidos de forma integrada. Es a través de AICLE que los centros están implementando esta idea. Además, las leyes educativas y autores relevantes en AICLE fomentan el uso de metodologías activas en el aula, por lo que en este Trabajo de Fin de Máster se utilizarán conjuntamente ABP y AICLE. En primer lugar, se realizará un pequeño análisis de la literatura de ambas metodologías para conocer los aspectos más importantes. Finalmente, con el objetivo de llevar la teoría a la práctica, ambas metodologías se implementarán en una misma propuesta didáctica para 5o de Educación Primaria en Andalucía. En él, los elementos esenciales de ambos métodos, así como aquellos que tienen en común, se utilizarán en un mismo proyecto que integra las asignaturas de Ciencias Naturales, Lengua Extranjera y Artes.

[EN]The interest in learning a foreign language is causing more and more schools to want to teach the foreign language and content in an integrated way. It is through CLIL that the centres are implementing this idea. In addition, educational laws and relevant authors in CLIL encourage the use of active methodologies in the classroom, so in this Master's thesis, Project-Based Learning and CLIL methodology will be used together. First, a small analysis of the literature of both methodologies will be carried out to know the most important aspects. Finally, with the aim of putting theory into practice, both methodologies will be implemented in the same didactic proposal for 5th grade of Primary Education in Andalusia. In it, the essential elements of both methods, as well as those they have in common will be used in the same project that integrates the subjects of Natural Sciences, Foreign Language and Arts.
