(EN)The world economy has developed changes caused by the internationalization of companies and the ease of communication among them. This fact makes possible the existence of foreign direct investment inflows, having interest in different localization factors of the receiving country that can generate benefits for foreign investors. Currently, there is a growth of activities belonging to the service sector that have caused changes in the relative weight of FDI in advanced countries and an increase in investment in this sector. This paper aims to investigate the location factors that attract foreign investors in the services sector in Spain in the period 2008-2020, through a statistical study, where a multiple regression analysis is performed, to determine the significant relationship that several factors have on FDI in services. The results show the importance of human capital, being the main factor that attracts more FDI in this sector. Exports of services and ICT infrastructure are also two factors directly related to the growth of FDI flows in services in recent years.
