(ES) El presente estudio se ha centrado en el análisis de la relación entre el vigor en el trabajo y el
engagement en el marco del modelo de demandas y recursos laborales, así como la influencia
que tiene edad en estas dos variables. Se llevó a cabo un estudio transversal. Se realizaron
análisis descriptivos, intercorrelaciones y análisis de regresión lineal. Los resultados
encontrados apoyan que el vigor en el trabajo y el engagement guardan una relación
significante, siendo el vigor un antecedente del engagement, y que la edad no tiene relación
con el vigor y el engagement por separado ni en la relación de estos constructos. En conclusión,
la única relación favorable de este estudio se da entre vigor en el trabajo y engagement.
(EN) The present study focused on the analysis of the relationship between vigor at work and engagement in the framework of the job demands and resources model, as well as the influence of age on these two variables. A transversal research has been carried out. Descriptive analysis, intercorrelations and linear regression analysis were performed. The results found support that vigor at work and engagement have a significant relationship, being vigor an antecedent of engagement, and that age has no relationship with vigor and engagement separately or in the relationship of these constructs. In conclusion, the only favorable relationship in this study is between vigor at work and engagement.
