La transexualidad y la socialización de género en la infancia

Abstract

(ES) En el presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado se habla sobre la relación/conexión existente entre la socialización de género y la transexualidad en la infancia dándole especial importancia esta última y al dolor que sienten los niños y niñas que no aceptan el género que se les ha asignado al nacer, con el sufrimiento que esto conlleva. Se ve como la sociedad los ha marginado durante mucho tiempo al no considerar que fuesen sujetos capaces de decidir y el cambio que se ha producido con la salida a escena de muchos niños y niñas a la esfera pública. Y se narran los cambios que ha habido en la percepción social de la transexualidad a lo largo de la historia, desde la visión que se ha tenido de la transexualidad para ver cómo esta ha evolucionado, llegando a pasar por diferentes estados desde la marginalidad, el rechazo, el olvido hasta la aceptación y defensa de esta. En una segunda parte se realiza una investigación, por medio de dos entrevistas y un cuestionario para comprobar si realmente se está produciendo este cambio o no y si la sociedad sabe qué es ser una persona trans, ya que sobre este término ha habido mucho desconocimiento. La finalidad de este proyecto es conocer si el pensamiento de hombres y mujeres, jóvenes y adultos ha evolucionado en cuanto a la aceptación y comprensión de la existencia de la transexualidad desde la infancia.

(EN) In this Final Degree Project, we will talk about the relationship/connection between gender socialization and transsexuality in childhood, the latter will take on special importance and the pain that children who do not accept the gender that has been given to them will feel. assigned at birth, with the suffering that this entails. It will be seen how society has marginalized them for a long time by not considering that they were subjects capable of deciding and the change that has occurred with the appearance of many boys and girls in the public sphere. And the changes that have occurred in the social perception of transsexuality throughout history will be narrated, from the vision that has been had of transsexuality to see how it has evolved, going through different states from marginality, rejection, oblivion until the acceptance and defense of this. In a second part, an investigation will be carried out, through two interviews and a questionnaire to verify if this change is really taking place or not and if society knows what it is to be a transsexual person, since there has been a lot of ignorance about this term. The purpose of this project is to find out if the thinking of men and women, young people and adults has evolved in terms of acceptance and understanding of the existence of transsexuality since childhood.
