Línea de investigación. Implicación de la corteza insular en la evocación de las preferencias gustativas condicionadas.

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo comprobar la implicación de la corteza insular (CI) en la evocación del aprendizaje apetitivo gustativo (AApG) tras una inactivación insular con lidocaína. Partiendo de que la CI está implicada en el procesamiento de estímulos viscerales e interoceptivos. Más recientemente se ha postulado su implicación respecto al procesamiento y aprendizaje de las adicciones asociando aspectos sensoriales con ambientes y sabores mediante el estudio de sus diferentes funciones en relación al aprendizaje, la memoria o la percepción gustativa. Realizando un artículo científico en el que se analizará la hipótesis, el procedimiento y los resultados obtenidos, se realizará una discusión acerca de dichos resultados y se relacionarán con otros artículos en esta misma línea de investigación. Los resultados obtenidos ponen de manifiesto como la inactivación de la ínsula, bloquea la evocación del aprendizaje adquirido durante los cinco primeros días experimentales.

The main objective of the present work is to verify the involvement of the insular cortex (IC) in the evocation of taste appetitive learning (AApG) after insular inactivation with lidocaine. It is important to emphasise that IC is involved in the processing of visceral and interoceptive stimuli. More recently, its implication regarding the processing and learning of addictions has been postulated, associating sensory aspects with environments and flavors through the study of their different functions in relation to learning, memory or taste perception. Making a scientific article in which the hypothesis, the procedure and the results obtained will be analyzed, a discussion will be held about said results and they will be related to other articles in this same line of research. The results obtained expose how the inactivation of the insula blocks the evocation of the learning acquired during the first five experimental days. Key words
