Validación psicométrica de la Escala de Salud Mental Positiva en población española durante la pandemia por COVID-19

Resumen
[ES] La Salud Mental Positiva se puede definir como la presencia de bienestar emocional, psicológico y
social. La Positive Mental Health (PMH) es una escala unidimensional que evalúa la salud mental positiva. La versión original cuenta con buenas propiedades psicométricas, este trabajo tiene como objetivo validar la versión en castellano para la población española utilizando una muestra de 845 participantes. Se realizaron análisis estadísticos, un análisis factorial confirmatorio y la validez convergente de la escala se evaluó a través de la correlación entre ésta y GSE, LOT-R, ERATS-18, MSPSS, HAD-14. Los resultados fueron satisfactorios, mostrando similitudes con la escala original. Como conclusión se pudo determinar que la denominada PMH es válida y fiable en la muestra de la población española en la que se aplicó, además, cuenta con una alta correlación positiva con factores de protección como la resiliencia y una correlación negativa con factores de riesgo de ansiedad y depresión.
