Resumen
En un mundo tan globalizado como el de ahora, la enseñanza del inglés como una segunda lengua (L2) a edades tempranas tiene un papel más fundamental que nunca. En este trabajo se presenta un estudio que examina distintas teorías relacionadas con este campo, tales como el conocimiento innato, la importancia de la lengua materna en el proceso de aprendizaje o la presencia de factores que influyen en él. Además, se ha llevado a cabo un proyecto de investigación basado en la elaboración de un cuestionario a jóvenes aprendientes de un centro de educación primaria, por un lado, y la realización de una entrevista a una maestra de primaria por otro, con la finalidad de llevar a la práctica y así estudiar lo que se ha expuesto en la parte teórica.
In today’s globalized world, teaching English as a second language (L2) at an early age plays a more fundamental role than ever. This project presents a study that examines different theories related to this field, such as innate knowledge, the importance of mother tongue in the learning process or the presence of factors that affect it. In addition, a research project has been developed based on the preparation of a questionnaire addressed to young learners from a primary school, as well as an interview with a primary school teacher, on the other, with the aim of implementing and thus studying what has been acquired in the theoretical part.
