Las metáforas del COVID-19 en el discurso político y la prensa: estudio interlingüístico.

Abstract

[ES] La presencia de la metáfora como recurso del lenguaje es una cuestión muy presente y analizada por expertos lingüistas. Este recurso se utiliza en cualquier situación lingüística de cualquier campo, siendo la política es uno de estos, al igual que la prensa periodística, que emplea la metáfora para generar en el lector ciertas sensaciones que influyan en la interpretación del texto. La pandemia mundial que vivimos a día de hoy ha sido motivo de infinidad de actos políticos y artículos periodísticos que han dejado muestras del uso de la metáfora en ambos sectores comunicativos. El análisis de estos textos en los países de España, Francia y Reino Unido emitidos durante la primera, segunda y tercera ola de COVID-19 ha permitido comprobar la evolución del lenguaje metafórico en cada país a lo largo de las tres etapas, y en cada etapa por parte de cada país.

[EN] The presence of the metaphor as a linguistic resource is a present question analyzed by experts of the language. This resource is used in any linguistic situation at any semantic field. Politics and the journalistic press are two of these fields that use metaphor to generate certain sensation in readers, sensations that directly influence on the interpretation of the. The global pandemic that we are experiencing nowadays has been the subject of countless political events and journalistic articles that have led to samples of the use of metaphor in both communication sectors. The analysis of these texts in the countries of Spain, France and the United Kingdom issued during the first, second and third waves of COVID-19 has allowed to verify the evolution of metaphorical language in each country throughout the three stages, and at each stage by each country.
